How to start using The Natural solution Products:
DO NOT DRAIN YOUR HOT TUB. Before starting with The Natural Solution you need to cleanse your hot tub with The All Natural Hot Tub Cleanser.
It removes buildup in the plumbing system and residues from the manufacturing process. Use the water in your tub to cleanse, so do not drain your tub. If your tub is empty you will have to fill it. The cost to fill a hot tub is under $12.00 for an 8-man tub. Well worth it!!

What to do with your test strip readings for your hot tub while using The Natural solution for Hot Tubs
Ideal ranges: Alkalinity 80-120 for city water
Alkalinity 120 – 180 for well water, lake water
PH 7.8 – 8.2 for all water
Always balance your Alkalinity first before you adjust the PH.
Alkalinity is the buffer for pH – it's what gives you the ability to control the pH levels in your hot tub.
If your Alkalinity is Low and your PH is Low: add Alkalinity increaser first, retest after 4 hours.
If your Alkalinity is Low and your PH is High: Add alkalinity increaser first, retest after 4 hours.
If your Alkalinity is within range and your PH is High: add PH Minus, retest after 4 hours.
If your Alkalinity is High and your PH is High: add PH Minus, retest after 4 hours.
Always wait 4 hours after adjusting your numbers, this allows the time required for the water chemistry to change and stabilize.
Retest your numbers and determine what your next step is. If you are unsure, you can always send me a photo of your test strip and I will guide you.
DO NOT USE Pool products in your hot tub.
Make sure the products you use are designed for hot tubs, and not pools. A hot tub requires similar but different products because of the temperature difference and amount of water. Typically pool chemicals have different stabilizing ingredients that are not helpful in getting spa water balanced.
Pool chlorine should Never be used in your hot tub.
Trichloro (pool tabs)
We do not recommend this type of chlorine for spas because it has a higher acidic nature, and generally dissolves too slowly to be effective. Prolonged contact with the spa shell can result in bleaching of the color and may even mark it, sometimes causing a permanent ring at the water line.
When using The Natural Solution for Hot tubs you do not have to use pucks in your hot tub.
The enzymes prevent conditions for bacteria to grow in by breaking up oils and contaminates in the water. I recommend using 1-2 tbsp of DiChlor chlorine granules once per week or as needed.
